This morning from 11:00 AM, the draw for the qualification round and the first group stage of the Basketball Champions League (BCL) took place at the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball, FIBA's headquarters located in Mies, Switzerland.
Qualification Rounds
Heroes Den Bosch will participate in Qualification Round III, which, like the other three qualifying tournaments, will be held from September 15 to 22. In the quarterfinals, Heroes will play against Aliaga Petkimspor from Turkey. A potential semifinal will be against Cholet Basket from France. If Heroes also progresses through this round, they will play against Caledonia Gladiators (UK), CSM CSU Oradea (ROM), or PAOK Mateco (GRE) in the final. The winner of the tournament qualifies for the first group stage of the Basketball Champions League.
The detailed match schedule and tournament locations will be announced in July.
Regular Season
If Heroes manage to qualify for the first group stage of the main tournament, they will be placed in Group B alongside Filou Oostende (BEL), King Szczecin (POL), and Unicaja (SPA). The group winners will advance directly to the second group stage, while the second and third place teams will compete in Play-in series to qualify for the Round of 16.
