Heroes Den Bosch will also participate in the qualifying round of the Basketball Champions League in the upcoming season.
The qualifying round starts in mid-September with 24 teams. The remaining 28 teams are directly placed in the main tournament. Of the 24 teams participating in the qualifying round, four teams will ultimately qualify for the first group stage, bringing the total to 32 teams in the regular season.
It is not yet known what the qualifying round will look like exactly. This will probably be announced around Wednesday, June 26, when the draw for the qualifying round and the first round of the main tournament takes place. This can be followed live from 11:00 AM via the official BCL YouTube channel.
Regular Season
The regular season starts on Tuesday, October 1, with eight groups of four teams each. The group winners advance directly to the Round of 16. The second and third place teams in each group will play play-in games in January 2025 to also qualify for this next round. The eight best teams in the Round of 16 will advance to the quarterfinals in April. The Basketball Champions League concludes with a Final Four tournament in May.
