Terrence Bieshaar strengthens Heroes for the rest of the season

The 2.08-meter forward/center, born in the Netherlands but raised in Spain from the age of nine, has an impressive basketball development background. He started his career with FC Barcelona before moving to Joventut Badalona, a club internationally renowned for its excellent talent development program. After his youth career, the 27-year-old international played for clubs in Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, and most recently for the Kaohsiung Aquas in the Taiwan Professional Basketball League. For the remainder of the season, he joins the Heroes squad, where his height, shooting ability, and experience at this level are seen as a key addition.

Coach Erik Braal is looking forward to working with Bieshaar: “We know Terrence from his seasons with Rotterdam and Zwolle. He has proven to be highly effective in both the 4 and 5 positions. Terrence is a smart, well-suited player who fits perfectly into our team. I’m excited to work with him and pleased to further strengthen our Dutch core.”

For Terrence Bieshaar, the move to Heroes Den Bosch feels like a logical step: “It’s great to be back in the Netherlands and to be part of a club with such a rich history. Heroes has ambitious goals, and I am determined to contribute to the team both on and off the court. I’m looking forward to competing alongside my ‘new’ teammates. Of course, I already know several players like Luuk, Charlon, Boy, and Menno from playing together on the national team.”

Bieshaar’s arrival provides valuable depth to the frontcourt rotation. The club is working hard to prepare the team for the critical phases of the season and sees Bieshaar as a player who can make an immediate impact in achieving its goals.
