Sherron Dorsey-Walker completes Heroes Den Bosch

The team led by coach Erik Braal is finally fully occupied. The departure of Demario Mayfield is compensated for by the acquisition of 30-year-old American guard/forward Sherron Dorsey-Walker.

The agile 1.94m tall player is no stranger to Dutch courts; in 2017, Dorsey-Walker began his professional career with Landstede Hammers, where he eventually played for three seasons and won the national championship in 2019. Last season, he played in Turkey and for the Polish team Lublin, where he also played the previous season and made his debut in the Champions League. His stats in Poland were impressive: averaging 17 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds.

With the imminent debut of the injury-free Emmanuel Akot and the addition of Dorsey-Walker, Heroes is complete, allowing head coach Erik Braal to continue building a promising season for the ambitious Bosch club. Braal stated, "We were looking for an experienced player who can operate as a secondary ballhandler, create opportunities for his teammates, defend strongly, and preferably score some baskets himself. I believe that with the acquisition of Sherron, we have more than succeeded in this!" Dorsey-Walker will arrive in Den Bosch next weekend, and the club is making every effort to quickly make him eligible to play and game-ready.
